Plan a get-together at Corralea

Updated: Feb 3

If Lockdown has taught us anything, it's the value of the little things in life, which we very often take for granted: the song of a bird, a friendly smile and of course even more importantly the real value of family and human interaction.

It is no coincidence that in 2021 we have had a record number of family reunions in Corralea.

Our 16 acres site offers space, privacy, forest, lake and the chance to socialise again in a safe environment, with your own accommodation and your own living area.

Corralea Cottages site

With 4 cottages of differing sizes, a communal lawn & a new BBQ Hut facilities, Fire pits and a small marquee available for outdoor dining, Corralea offers a great set up for any kind of social gathering.

The forest with its roaming wild deer surrounds the site and creates a safe and secluded haven, a retreat from the outside world…. You can truly switch off from our technology driven society and embrace the natural world around you.

The lake is just a stone throw away from all cottages and offers opportunities for wild swimming, canoeing or simply star gazing on our Lough Swing.

Corralea Activity Centre Ltd. - Outdoor Activities

Lots of FREE activities on site will keep children busy while adults chat or relax: playground, forest swings, orienteering course, building huts in the forest, biking trails, fishing, football, volleyball, basketball or badminton, swimming, marshmallow time …

Corralea Activity Centre Ltd. provides outdoor activities for day trippers or residents. Archery, climbing or mountain biking sessions can be booked through their office. Canoe & SUP board hire can be booked online: www.corralea.com/book-online . Children’s bikes are available for hire to enjoy the bike trails on site or you can bring your own bike if you wish.

E-bikes are available to hire for adults and teenagers (16+ accompanied by an adult) and our instructors will recommend the best routes to enjoy your ride, whether it is a lap of the lake or a trip to Ballintempo forest.

For the more adventurous, you can book a private & authentic caving session with Marius and discover the sounds and smells of the underworld...

or go on an electric escape over the Fermanagh Scarplands with Brian on our state of the art electric mountain bikes.

Last but not least, you can reserve our unique Forest Eco Spa hidden in the forest on the shores of the lake: the hot tub has no bubbles, it is wood fired and lets you immerse yourself in the sounds of the forest, listen to the breeze in the leaves and the call of the birds.

The Nordic sauna has a stunning panoramic window which allows you to absorb the fabulous views of Lough Macnean, Thur Mountain and the Leitrim hills.

The beehive pod offers intimate relaxation on wooden loungers, mini fridge and tea making facilities.

You have exclusive use of the Forest Eco Spa for a relaxing 3 hours.
